Hamtramck Assembly Plant

Hamtramck Energy Services has provided management, operational and maintenance staffing to the General Motors Hamtramck Assembly Plant in Hamtramck, MI, since July 1, 2008. We operate and maintain the boilers, compressors, chillers and water treatment equipment at the plant, as well as all associated auxiliary equipment.

With a staff of 16 that averages more than 20 years of powerhouse experience per person, we have worked closely with the Site Utility Manager to reduce maintenance costs, improve operating efficiencies, and maintain a safe and productive work force. We have also helped the plant achieve a high standard of reliability, as well as greatly improve its environmental stewardship.

Through our operations, maintenance and management, Hamtramck Energy Services has saved GM in excess of $2 million annually at theHamtramck facility.

Flint South Truck and Engine Plan

Hamtramck Energy Services has provided management, operational, and maintenance staffing to the General Motors Flint South Truck and Engine Plant since April 1, 2009. We operate and maintain the boilers, compressors, chillers and water treatment equipment at the plant, as well as all associated auxiliary equipment.

With a staff of 16 that averages more than 20 years of powerhouse experience per person, we have worked closely with the Site Utility Manager to reduce maintenance costs, improve operating efficiencies, and maintain a safe and productive work force. We have also helped the plant achieve a high standard of reliability, as well as greatly improve its environmental stewardship.

Since Hamtramck Energy Services began managing the site, we have saved GM in excess of $1 million through a variety of operational and maintenance changes, and through the elimination of outside contracting.
